A Mullanphy Family Tree

John Mullanphy was the first millionaire in St. Louis. Three of his daughters married men who together signed treaties 28 times. Each of those treaty signers had a brother who signed treaties, and those brothers had relatives who signed treaties. George Graham was the stepfather of Richard B. Mason, who at one point was the military governor of California. John Biddle was the father-in-law of Andrew Porter, whose father George was the governor of Michigan Territory, in charge of distibuting money at the Treaty of Chicago.​
